Creating a dataset

The process for creating datasets through file upload is quite simple. When you click the Create dataset button, select the option From deviceunder the source options.

Next, give your dataset a name and select the desired file.

For XLSX files, if your spreadsheet has more than one sheet, you will need to select the one you want to use to build the dataset.

Finally, if your file has headers (meaning the first row contains the column titles), make sure to leave the checkbox selected. If it doesn’t, uncheck the box.

And that's it! Your dataset has been created!

Refreshing the data

As you know, datasets created through file uploads can only be updated manually. To do this, locate the dataset you want to update and click on Edit, which is found within the three-dot button in the right corner.

When your dataset opens, click on Re-upload file in the upper right corner.

Since XLSX files can contain more than one sheet, to update the dataset, the name of the sheet you are re-uploading must be the same as the name of the sheet you previously uploaded.
