With the Dashbreeze integration with Google Sheets, you can use your Google Sheets spreadsheets as a source for creating datasets.

To use the integration and access the spreadsheets stored in your account, all you need is a free Google account.

How it works

Once the integration is up and running, Dashbreeze can access the spreadsheets stored in the Google account you’ve granted permission to. Using the URLs of these spreadsheets, Dashbreeze can create datasets that will be used to build the blocks for your dashboards.

In your Google Sheets spreadsheet, you can add new columns, delete columns, and input new data, and these changes will reflect in the dataset you created. This action can be automatic if you have enabled the auto-refresh setting, or it can be manual by clicking the Update databutton within your dataset.

If you have other Google Sheets spreadsheets stored in a different account and want to use them to create datasets, you will need to grant us permission for that account as well. This will allow us to access these spreadsheets and use their data for your dashboards.

You can connect multiple Google accounts to your Dashbreeze account to access the different Google Sheets spreadsheets stored in each.

How to set it up

In the main menu, click on the integrations button, and then click on the Create integration button.

Help Center Images (5).png

On the next screen, click the Connectbutton located on the Google Sheets card. Then, give a name to this integration so that it is easy to locate when creating datasets.

A window will pop up asking you to connect a Google account. You can then either select one of the accounts shown or click on Use another account to sign in with a different Google account that you’re not currently logged into.

If everything goes smoothly, you will be automatically redirected to start creating a dataset with the connected account.

How to create a dataset using Google Sheets
